Many people expect that they’ll only need to hire a lawyer for a one-time event. They fear lawyers are expensive or they don’t feel any great urgency to settle their affairs, and so they put off creating a will, or ensuring they have the legal documentation to provide for their end of life. Unfortunately, we regularly work with grieving families who are trying to manage the administration of intestate estate of their loved ones who did not prepare a will prior to their death, or failed to obtain important advice to ensure the effect of their estate planning documents reflected their intentions. Our History

Peter Fisher Lawyers was established by Peter Fisher in 1992 in Hove, South Australia. Having a clear understanding of the aging society and that people have a need for Wills and help to administer Estates, his practice was mindfully located in the “oldest” council region in South Australia, including Brighton, Glenelg, Somerton Park, Hallett Cove and Marino.

2011

In 2011, Peter Earl joined the firm and shortly after this, a second Peter Fisher Lawyers office was opened at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills, not far from Mount Barker, Oakbank, and Balhannah in the South and Lobethal, Mount Torrens, Birdwood, Mount Pleasant and Gumeracha in the North. Services were also expanded to include Family Law.

2013

In 2013, Peter Fisher and Peter Earl became partners of the firm.

2015

In 2015, Peter Fisher Lawyers expanded its services further to the Southern Vales and Fleurieu Peninsula. This is in close proximity to Aldinga, Moana, Willunga, Victor Harbor, McLaren Flat, Kangarilla and Meadows.

2018

In August 2018, after a lengthy period of illness, unfortunately, Peter Fisher passed away. Peter Earl became the sole director of Peter Fisher Lawyers and he, along with the team of support staff and legal practitioners continued to provide quality Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Family Law services throughout the Adelaide Hills, Southern Suburbs, Fleurieu Peninsula, and Murraylands. In February 2020, Peter Fisher Lawyers introduced Conveyancing to their mix of services.

2023

In January 2023, Peter Fisher Lawyers, expanding the service area of Peter Fisher Lawyers into the Clare Valley and Mid North of South Australia.
